I have a Pentium 4, 3.06Ghz on an Asus P4PE mb, 2GB ram. I'm currently using a SoundBlaster Extigy USB external soundcard & ATI Radeon 9700 Pro 128MB. I may have damaged the videocard so I want to replace it as well as the soundcard also. Any suggestions? I'm looking at the Sapphire 100228 Radeon HD3850 512MB 256 bit GDDR3 AGP 4x/8x HDCP video ready. I haven't picked any soundcards yet, though maybe the SB Audigy 2ZS Platinum. Has anyone used the Sapphire card on AGP 4x?

Thanx!

you might verify that your power supply is strong enough?

Unless it's a premium brand that might be the cause of your problems coupled with a cheap case and poor ventilation
