I'm running Windows XP Professional SP2.

I have tried everything to get rid of Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition v10, but it's there when I try to install any other AntiVirus and blocks any other AntiVirus from installing.
I followed the manual uninstall guide at the Symantec Corporate Web Site
http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-s...87?OpenDocument
and
http://service1.symantec.com/support/ent-s...fa?OpenDocument

Additionally, I have searched three times (to be certain they are removed) through my registry for:
Norton
Symantec
Live Update
And deleted any references I located.

I even used the latest version of Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

Unfortunately, the Symantec Antivirus still shows as being installed on my system.

I'm desperate for help.

Yes, I tried to reinstall NAV Corporate, but I get same error - that there is a previous installation that has not been completed. Meanwhile there is no previous installation as I tried to install after a re-boot and I didn't install anything prior to the reboot or before trying to install NAV Corporate.

Erv ... something else to try is get a copy of WinASO Reg optimizer and do a scan and fix all problems it finds. It will go through and find 'broken' links in your registry and just do a general cleaning of your computer.
