Browser loses connectivity for no apparent reason IE7 and Mozilla

browser will not display folders in webmail

Outlook Express constantly refuses to download messages/ finally gets/sends them.

Sometimes taskmanager process is at 100 percent no apparent reason


CHECKLIST:

Inside box clean

Ran CCleaner cleaned all caches temp files

Ran Winsock fix

Reset IE7

Phishing filter was already off ...it had a tiny yellow exclamation point in the check box

Hard drive has 250 GB free so I did not run disk cleanup\

Did not touch prefetch folder

ran chkdsk /f

ran sfc /scannow it copied some files to the dll cache
OMG! It kept asking for my service pack 2 CD
I tried every CD that came with my XP MCE and it would not accept My CD's

Ran DEFRAG in safe mode

I see a clean log here, there are no signs of malware or anything that may cause the browser problems you are having. I recommend that you post your question in the following forum as you will recieve better help there.

Let them know you have had your Hijackthis/DSS log checked, and it isn't a serious security issue.
