hello.I have a dell latitude D600 and it wont boot up.I tried the safe mode but was unable to start up also.I tried to reinstall windows xp but it just shows the first screen and when I press any option it just goes blank.I ran the diagnostics everything was fine until the last option it pop up "No Diagnostic Utility Partition Found." Is there some drivers I need in order to boot up?Any help would be at the utmost thankful.

Sounds like you possibly hosed the recovery partition. What buttons did you press to reinstall, ctrl and F11? It can be a little tricky. If you did indeed bugger the recovery partition, you can order a recovery CD from Dell. Give them a call and have the service tag number available. The last one I ordered took about 5 days and they didn't charge me anything. The CD is strictly the OS, you'll have to go to their support site and download the drivers
