I did a system scan with AV Antivirus and it said Warning: pagefile.sys cannot be opened. How much of a problem is that and what does it mean?

What's the name of the AV program?

In any case, I suspect it's just an error, based on Symantec's statement:

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-s...48?OpenDocument

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=d...the+pagefile%3F

I would not lose sleep over this.

If the pagefile.sys is located in the root of your C: drive, then it's likely that it's the pagefile that Windows is using. As such, it's a system file and it's also in use by Windows - so the antivirus program cannot access it.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
