So, apparently by brother was also looking to buy an 24" LCD as well.

He's pretty much open for anything, but here are the option so far:

BenQ G2400W ($379.99 shipped w/ google checkout) http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=...amp;dcaid=15889

LG L245WP-BN: ($589.99 shipped) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...&Tpk=l245wp

BenQ FP241W ($463.50 shipped) http://superdigitalmedia.com/product_info....roducts_id=2358

BenQ FP241VW ($415.50 shipped) http://superdigitalmedia.com/product_info....roducts_id=2372

Samsung 245BW ($324.75 shipped (technically $450 due to site's regulation)) http://superdigitalmedia.com/product_info....roducts_id=2372

Gateway FHD2400 ($396.75 shipped (technically $450 due to site's regulation)) http://superdigitalmedia.com/product_info....roducts_id=2365

NEC MultiSync LCD2470WNX-BK ($561.75 shipped) http://superdigitalmedia.com/product_info....roducts_id=2455

In my opinion, I think the LG L245WP is arguably the best out of all, but the price is too steep right now

The videocard he will be using is the same as mine ( nvidia 8800gtx ) with only DVI output.

Lastly, anyone know if superdigitalmedia site can be trusted? Are those items refurbished or something (although they said their items are 'fresh' in the site info? They're extremely cheap.

So, what do you guys think is the best bang for the bucks?

I did some research on superdigitalmedia.com site and looks like it's a 100% SCAM.

I'm currently checking on local Circuit City for the LG right now and no luck so far

In the case I can't get a good price for the LG, the BenQ G2400W may be the best bang for the buck I believe. However, you are welcomed to add any LCD other than those listed.
