Hi everyone. I'm currently having a problem with Yahoo Messenger. Whenever I try to log-in, it's either it hangs up or the entire Messenger vanishes and nothing happens. I tried reinstalling different versions for the nth time, updating my anti-virus, and using Combofix but still nothing changes.

If that is your only issue, then you may not be dealing with any malware. As the first step I suggest you contact "Yahoo Messenger Support" and ask them. Chances are the same issue has already been reported, and a solution is available.

You should not be using Combofix unless instructed to do so by a Malware Removal Expert. It is a powerful tool intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer.
