Hello

I've just joined this forum after downloading combofix searching for a fix for a number of errors I am receiving:

Error 1 - A problem has been detected and windos has been shutdown buggy application to prevent damage to your computer. Kernel 32x.SYS - address 0xA73C2OA3 base, error code C03200, Date Stamp 56b836A3, kernel debugger on port: COM3 (port 0x19f, Baud Rate 9201.

After downloading and running combofix according to the exact directions, my clock is changed (as I was told it would be, but combofix has already run and my clock is still changed (military time it looks)) and I received a note to post the combofix log to a forum before rebooting. I hope someone is here tonight to help me out...lol.

I have already run adaware 2007, AVG Antispyware and my Norton Antivirus but nothing seems to work.

Here's my combofix log:

WindowsXP-KB310994-SP2-Home-BootDisk-ENU.exe
[boot loader]
timeout=2
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn
C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons

Can someone tell me what this means? Did I make my problem worse? I used to have Hijack This, but I don't anymore...should I download that and put the log here?

Thanks,
CJ

Hello crj17, welcome to BC, Please take note of somethings you need to do. Thank you.

ComboFix logs should not to be posted outside the HijackThis forums. It is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

Please create a new topic explaining the nature of your problem. Describe pop-ups and system tray or desktop icons that have appeared. Explain what is "going wrong" with your computer. Note any tools you have used and their respective results.

If needed, we will direct you to our HJT Preparation Guide.

Thank you for using BleepingComputer as your malware removal source.
