Hello all! WOW!!!! Is this heaven? This must be heaven to find literate individuals willing to help a computer illiterate such as myself. I'm just in awe with this site at this point. I have been in many areas of this forum the past several days and am just now getting around to an introduction. All of the information at this site is truly overwhelming for me. I am a 57 year old retired woodworker so that might give you an idea of my computer literacy. I taught English for a few years, years ago, but the kids in the secondary schools "ran me aground" and I have been "beached" since 1984. My love is woodworking anyhow. I don't know whay I ever thought I could go out there and make a difference in the educational system. At any rate, a friend of mine that manages a computer system for DOD in the southwestern portion of the U.S. sent me the link to this site and I am extremely grateful. I haven't been a student for many years. Now, it appears, is the time to return to the "student mode" and listen to the educated computer literate individuals in this forum.

I'm having difficulty with pop-ups. Where or what forum would I go to for a problem like that? I've viewed the list of forums and I'm not quite sure. Any assistiance to direct me to the apporpriate place will save me time as well as wasting time asking question to those who are pressed for it in a forum that does not deal with this particular problem.

I thank you for your presence, your guidance as well as your patience. <bow>

Hello all,
I am new today as well and thought I'd post here rather than create a new thread. This is a terrific site and I've learned a great deal reading through many of the threads today. I've been hit on two of PCs with the OuterInfo virus and some of its bundled variants. I'm planning on posting in the thread designated for those who are infected and in need of assistance. A big thanks to the folks who run this forum and the techs who lend their expertise in helping us get rid of these annoyances.

thanks again,
