Hello, I have trojandownloader.exe on my computer. My computer has slowed down and I have many types of spyware and adware popping up. I ran the combofix logs. I wanted to know what I should do now? I was going to post my logs but I see it says to not post here.
thank-you

Ok I ran the combofix so now I need to post my logs. I have the trojandownloader.exe virus. It will pop up in several different types of windows. I have yellow yield signs in my icon tray. Different spyware and adware keep popping up. The computer is also very slow.
Thank-you
Robert

Hello moreparkin and welcome to BC :flowers:

I ran the combofix

ComboFix is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained. ComboFix is intended by its creator to be "used under the guidance and supervision of an expert", NOT for private use. Please read Combofix's Disclaimer. Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

In order to provide you with the proper disinfection procedures, we need some additional information.

What is your operating system: Windows XP, Vista, etc.

What security programs do you have installed? Please name them.

I have trojandownloader.exe on my computer

What alerted you to its presence? Can you provide a file path? An example of a file path is C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VGA.DRV in which VGA.DRV is the file, SYSTEM is the folder it's in, WINDOWS is the folder SYSTEM is in, and C is the drive it's on.

I have many types of spyware and adware popping up

Can you please describe these? What do they look like? What do they say?
