I've just downloaded FlashGet on the adviceof ZML.com, the movie library that I may use, so that I can download movies .They say don't use IE cos if it freezes you then have to start over...and pay again and you will have lost that dowload.

Is that right, are there any probs with this application, are there any better Download Managers out there.

I am a beginner and am running XP Home service pack 2 on a Dell 1300 Inspiron laptop

It used to be a good product but I understand they've added spyware to their recent upgrade. This is a huge problem that ruins a lot of freeware. You install the program and it comes with an unnecessary and unwanted toolbar. Unless you can get an old edition you should look at something else.
