I have found out from your site that my problem has to do with an update that Windows installed on my Vista Home Basic operating system on Feb 25 called KB937287. I have tried to uninstall with uninstall an update. This doesn't work. I have tried to uninstall a file which was installed at that same time called msvcr.dll, which won't uninstall through programs, right click and then click delete. This second file is in my yahoo messenger program file, and is creating yahoo mail problems, messenger problems, AVG antivirus problems, etc. Please advise me as to how to handle this problem Thank you.

This update cannot be uninstalled. However, you should be able to use System Restore to roll back to a time before the update was applied. If SR is enabled, it should automatically create a restore point before the update.
