Hi all..I'm no computer whiz but I'll do my best to explain my situation.

Anytime I click on something (e-mail, webpage, etc.) the following pop up appears and sometimes it takes multiple clicks on "cancel" to get it off the screen. "System Error! Your computer was infected by unknown trojan. It's dangerous for your system (critical files can be lost!) Click ok to download the antispyware program to clean your system. (recommended)."

If I click "ok" my webpage closes. If I click "cancel" it goes away, but as soon as I click on to something else it reappears.

So far I've ran my Norton Antivirus, Spybot and Netcom3 (arrggh I paid for this). I've cleared the files that were reported as bad, but I still get the "System Error" pop up. What can I do to get rid of this annoying thing? Thanks

Hello bunnyluv24 and welcome to BC :flowers:

Can you tell us what AntiSpyware program those popups want you to download? The answer to that question will help us identify the infection.

Also, please tell us what your operating system is: Windows XP, Vista etc. so we can provide the proper disinfection procedures.
