Hi all.

New to this site and new to this problem. I opened an infected application last night and now I constantly get popups in internet explorer. I have tried tons of different spyware removals and even a couple of vondu removal programs from safemode.

My updated version of norton 2006 was unable to detect it when I ran a full system scan. I downloaded the program hijack this and ran a log. I don't know anything about this program though.

As I am sitting here typing this I now have 12 internet explorers open.
Any help would be appreciated.

I had to run hijack this in safemode because it wouldn't open otherwise.
Here is the log.

I took the liberty and read down this page a bit. It seems the next course of action is to run combofix. I went ahead and disconnected my internet and ran combofix. Here is the log.

I apologize for the very long delay. We have a huge backlog of HijackThis Logs to handle and it has been taking us greater time than normal to get caught up. If you are still having a problem, and want us to analyze your information, please post a brand new hijackthis log. If we do not hear back from you within a couple of days we will need to close your topic.

When posting your logs please post them directly into the reply. Do not attach them.

Also make sure you have already followed the steps outlined below:
