I am running XP SP2. Just installed media player 11 using it with IE 6. Have media player configured to rip CD automatically when I insert it if I am on the RIP tab. I am trying to load my CD collection to the computer.

When I insert a CD to rip it, one of my windows explorer screens that I use to connect to my workplace will close. The window that closes is using Java if that makes any difference. When this happens, media player will rip the CD just fine. If I sign back onto the explorer screen and begin working with my real work again, the window will close again when media player gets done ripping the CD.

Any ideas?
