In upgrading to XP I have apparently lost my sound drivers. I was runing windows98se before
and Belarc told me this

Multimedia
Standard Universal PCI to USB Host Controller (2x)
VIA PCI to USB Enhanced Host Controller
VIA Tech 3038 PCI to USB Universal Host Controller Vinyl AC'97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM)
Now it tells me this

Multimedia
VIA Rev 5 or later USB Universal Host Controller (3x) Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Devic

Which file is it im missing? I downloaded the VIA controller last night but it doesnt seem to find it.

I also have some rundll problems. Let me know if you need a hijack log.

What is the make and model of the computer? How much memory does it have?
I think I would solve the run.dll problems first. What is it doing?

When you're done updating, open Device Manager and expand all of the+'s. Look for yellow exclamation points and list what devices they're by
