have scanned with avg , trend housecall ,s pybot , adawareplus and win defender and they find nothing . the 2nd time it happened was when i was using auslogics defragmenter , as soon as it was going desktop and all files dissapeared , 1st time i don't remember what i was doing .

Defrag programs can cause lose of data when its moving fragments around. I would not blame malware just yet.

First of all, try recovering the files with something like Recuva (very small recovery program):

It is possible that they may have already been overwritten.

If you are able to recover them, save them onto an external drive.

Regarding TROJ_SMALLTRO.LD : It seems like MicroTrend is the only anti virus that detects it so, it's up to your judgement.

try running:
chkdsk c: /f
from a run prompt, allowing it to run on next reboot, and the reboot. See if your files return. If not, try the same with
chkdsk c: /f /r

recuva found none of the files lost . i guess i'll just pull an old backup and lose the last month of data . just wish i could figure out why this happened , must be auslogic defrag that did it , as soon as i ran it my desktop flashed and all files were gone , for good
