HI there

I was called in to help a friend try and sort their PC out as they were/are having problems connecting to the internet. I'm able to communicate with the router but am unable to reach any websites - I thought it may have something to do with Zlob file and smitfraud and and after searching for HJT, was led here.

Can anyone shed some light on this, or indeed give me any advice on how to proceed - I've run HJT and include the report below.

I ran spybot and it picked up the smitfraud and Zlob infections (also picked up another 2 - one in the registry but in Current Version/Ruins and not Current Version/run as I am familiar with. I let spybot do its stuff on these 4 infections but left before I could run another scan (from what I can find online, these will probably reappear).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS Just remembered one of the other infections was Pipas.A (the other one was spybot just picking up on the antivirus.override which I understand is not a problem)
