.exe files will not open i need help!

most of my .exe files will not open i ran reg fix and this happened what do i do???help please!! i can use the open with option though so yeah i hope someone can help im pretty sue it has to do with the reg

You need to restore your registry back to a time before you ran the reg fix program. What is your operating system?

windows xp pro i found some fixes but i dont have admin properties

Reboot the computer and repeatedly press F8 until you get to the black and white screen with a menu and using the arrow keys select last known good configuration and press enter. That should restore a previous registry for you.

ha i tried that it didnt do anything!!!i need help really bad!!!omg i probaly have system restore turned off or my dad did anyway

EDIT: Sorry not in right state of mind. the Fix i posted was for WinXP! as you are in WIN98*Grinler Forum i Erased it!

What is the exact name of "reg fix"? Do you have a link to where you got it? Did it make a backup?
