My browser has been hijacked, at least that's the constant pop up error I receive. The pop-up message includes information that a trojan has been installed on my computer, and advises me to download the latest anti-spyware to avoid losing critical files. I have ran Spybot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, and Spyware Doctor and none of them are finding anything. I have AVG anti-virus (free version) and it discovers nothing. I've made sure that all the latest updates are installed and have ran these programs over and over to see if it'll detect anything.

When I try to search on the internet, I get an error stating my browser's been hijacked by porn. When I go to click on any of the first three or four searched selections I get a 404 Page Not Found error. Sometimes it'll take me directly to the site for IE Defender, which does an auto scan of my PC for trojans...but the webpage listing is under widget porn, instead of IE Defender? I haven't downloaded the IE Defender spyware removal.

I'm at a loss for what else to do? My internet access is getting worse everyday. Any action I take, I'm having to click off repeated pop-ups. It took an hour for me to get access to my e-mail earlier today. My computer will search for what I ask, but will not bring up the screens of sites I go to everyday. I have to type their web address in, for the website to come up ..otherwise I'll get the 404 Page Not Found error.

I am computer literate, but I'm not necessarily the most savey computer operator. If I were I wouldn't have went to download the program that caused this. It was a program the webpage said I needed to view a file. It was very late at night, so I was tired and not sure, but I think it said something about ActiveX? Not 100% sure on that!

I really need and would greatly appreciate any help. I tried to screen print below the pop up...but it shows all text, but that's exactly what it says.

Thank you in advance for your time!!!!!

Your browser was hijacked! Some results was changed by porn advertising! You need to clean your system immediately to prevent it. Download the newest antispyware software!

Also this is an error that comes up on the search results page.

Thanks again!
