Hi...just curious...has anyone seen a virus that Mcaffee or Norton could not detect, that it continously deletes the mydocuments folder and have to use getbackdata
to recover it? After eliminating all spyware with hijack this, where the runonce
is at bare minimum, but it continues to remove the mydocuments folder.

Thanks...

Try using either a webscanner:

Bit Defender http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php
Panda Active Scan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/ac...n/principal.asp
Trend Micro http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

I think all 3 will remove anything found as well.

Or try downloading Sysclean and the virus pattern files and/or download the command line Sophos scanner and web ides

Or try using rescueme which has several options.

However I would post your hijack this log in the appropriate forum and let a expert look at it.
