As soon as I enter Explorer, it asks me to load 7.0. I already have 7.0, so I ignored it. It pops up again, so I download it last night. Now it wants to do it again. Any ideas?

Are you receiving the following error message: "Internet Explorer 7 could not be installed. You must restart your system to confirm that any changes to your system are undone."

Have a look at When you try to install Windows Internet Explorer 7, you receive an error message: "Internet Explorer 7 could not be installed".

If not, completely uninstall IE 7 and then reinstall it again to see if this helps the problem.

Got it fixed!! Had to call Microsoft support. Ended up going into tools, Internet options, advanced and doing a reset of the Explorer settings.

That was a short lived fix. Lasted for a few days. Now IE wants to keep continuing to load the update again. Quite sure it is some sort of Firewall or Spyware incompatibility. Have to get them back on the horn again.

I think I excorsised the Microsoft demon screen. I had to uninstall Arovax Shield, change the start page back to a blank, as I had previous. Then reinstall the latest Arovax Shield program.
