I switched on my computer last Sunday (2nd) and immediately a box showed in the RH corner of my screen saying "Welcome to MonaRonaDona" which stated that it was a virus which was there to "wreck my computer" in the name of humanity! I went to the Yahoo site and posted a question on how to get rid of the virus and several answers came back, all of which I tried but to no avail.
I somehow stumbled on the bleeping computer site and found another way to try to get rid of the virus which I tried straightaway, and at 10.00 this morning (5th) I was finally able to get rid of the virus which had caused such stress to me. I now say a heartfelt thankyou to whoever composed the instructions to get rid of the virus.
There is one small problem left: Every time I open Windows Explorer, I still get the words "MaraRonaDona tacked onto the end of the title bar. Any clues? Once again thankyou to all.

Windows Explorer or Internet Explorer?
Changing the IE title is easy,
Read the instructions Here.

BTW this site and most of the removal instructions are all thanks to Grinler

Are you still infected? If so, I would love to help you but would first need to grab a sample.
