I was running Ad-Aware 2007 (free version) and got into the deep registry scan and then my laptop screen went blank. It didnt show that the laptop was turned off, but it also reported no PC activity at all. This has happened to me twice now.....i was using this as instructed in the Hijackthis forum.

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Do you have powersaving modes on? i.e. hibernate after X number of minutes?

if this log
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...mp;#entry758439 relates to the same computer(?)

I suggest before you make any changes on THIS thread you may wish to await a response on the other thread as the two could well be ' related'
