hello i have windows xp home and i installed dual boot ubuntu and it has gone wrong and nowwhen i go to start my pc i get the option windows or ubuntu if i click ubunut the computer reboots and if you choose xp it comes up windows could not start becasue of missing/corrupt hal.dll i have a broken disk tray so i took the disk tray from an old pc and ppluged it into my pc put the xp disk in clicked boot menu and it had disktray = LG or something and my new disk tray i put in is LG so i take it the pc picks it up if i select to boot from disk the screen goes blacnk for a second then i need to pick which operating system and the process happens all over again please help me...
