Hi Friends,

There are some viruses running in my computer. Whenever I do a system scan with the help of HijackThis it shows some suspicious exe files. When I delete these bad files they generate themselves again automatically. Even I have tried to delete them from regedit but to no avail. I see every time these bad exe files again and again. According to my knowledge I have eliminated some suspicious exe files below. These are just for your quick look may be more there in reportů

Hello nav2684,

Your computer is badly infected and your log shows some very dangerous Trojans are residing on your PC which have backdoor functionality. It is possible that a remote attacker has already breached your PC.

I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or it if it contains any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojans have been identified and can be killed, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS.

Visit the following sites for more information on internet theft and when to reformat!

Should you decide not to follow that advice, we will of course do our best to clean the computer of any infections that we can see but, as I already stated, we can in no way guarantee it to be trustworthy.

If you have any questions before making a final decision, please feel free to ask.

Should you choose not to reformat, please follow my instructions below.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
For more information regarding this download, please visit this webpage: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
  • Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
  • Close any open browsers.
  • Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
    • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

      -----------------------------------------------------------

    • Close any open browsers.
    • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
    • Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
    • If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

  • Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • When finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**
