I'm building a system, and I'm going to use a lot of really ancient parts, and I was wondering where to get the following parts? They all need to be identical.

I need:

1 24-port switch
17 P2 Motherboards
17 400Mhz P2 Processors
34 128MB SDRAM SIMMs
18 10/100Mbps NICs
17 10GB Hard disks
17 FDD Drives
17 SVGA Adapters
1 CDROM Drive
1 Keyboard
1 17" Multisync monitor
5 4-way KVM switches
16 Keyboard extension cables
16 Video extension cables
16 Mouse extension cables
18 6' Twisted pair network cables
3 6-outlet surge protectors

I can probably figure out where to get the cases, keyboard, cdrom, FDD drives, monitor, switch, video cables, CAT5 cables, and the surge protectors from, but for the other stuff, can you even get some of it anymore? Sorry for the long list, I'm just kind of lost as to if it exists anymore.

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around

the obvious answer would be to contact a recycler that gets paid to haul away old computers from government facilities

they would probably be faster tho

Keep you eye open for business auctions in your area. I won a bid on a Savings and Loan that went out of business real cheap. Work stations, monitors, hubs, switches wiring troughs, you name it
