I have experienced a profound reduction in d/l time in the past few days, especially d/l-ing mail via OE6. My primary computer is a Dell Latitude (2 Mhz XP OS) and my secondary computer is a Thinkpad (330 Mhz Win 2K 0S). Connected to the same telephone line (dial-up), the Thinkpad d/l-es much faster. I call the ISP and the settings were supposed to 'fix' that problem, but it hasn't.

I have scanned with SAV 8, Ad-Aware and Spybot...nothing comes up.

I am attaching the latest HijackThis log.

Is there anything in there that look suspicious.

I have not been fooling around questionable websites. I use the primary computer for my navigational software.

Hi polaris6 and welcome to the BC forums. After reviewing your log I see no indications of viruses or malware on your computer. It is a clean log.

If you want to check the download speeds of the 2 computers to see if there is a measurable difference there are a number of sites on the web that can do this. Here are a couple of links:PcPitstop Internet Connection Center
DSLReports Speedtest
There are also free applications that you can download and run locally to test your line speed:tcpIQ's Line Speed Meter
Run either the online tests or download and run the Line Speed Meter and compare the results between the 2 computers. That will tell you if there is a difference in line speeds between the 2 computers.
