I just got a chinese ebay combo reader and usb hub. it didn't come with a driver disk but when i plugged it in, it got associated with a mass storage device driver (digital camera driver)
now I need to know how to get rid of that association because the card reader doesn't work as a mass storage device and the mouse pointer turns into the hourglass when the hub is plugged in. and when I get the actual driver for the hub I want it to search for it.

Also does anyone know where I can get a driver that will work with the card reader? it's this one http://media.uxcell.com/uxcell/images/item...ux0008_ux_c.jpg

For XP those devices don't need a third-party driver so none is supplied or available -- just as long as you have XP-SP1 or XP-SP2, Windows uses it's own driver and it should work fine. I suspect the device is faulty and not a well-known brand. Buy a belkin one -- I mean what's the point of buying something like that on Ebay? They don't cost a fortune from normal retail outlets so why take a gamble on ebay which may be a rip-off, as this one probably is. You ebay skinflints deserve what you sometimes end up with.
