Hi everyone,

I was wondering, which out of Ad-aware 2007 and Spybot S&D is best for on-demand scanning.

Thanks! :thumbsup:

Spybot S&D.

Although it has a new look, Ad-aware 2007 does not seem to offer much in major improvements with its scanning.

mvps.org is no longer recommending Spybot S&D due to poor testing results and no longer recommending Ad-Aware due to the ever increasing amount of problems. See here. (scroll down to the note)

Yes, but they still provide a link for Spybot and Windows Defender even though it does poorly in real-world test results.

Ok thanks! :flowers:

I currently have;

Anti-Virus: AVG 7.5 Professional Edition
Anti-Spyware: Windows Defender, Ad-aware 2007, SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard
Anti-Rootkit: AVG Anti-Rootkit Free
Firewall:COMODO Firewall PRO

I was thinking about Removing Windows Defender and using something else for Real-time and on-demand.

Do you have an suggestions? :thumbsup:

Comodo BOClean Anti-Malware is a good choice for monitoring running processes and detecting Trojans.
How to install/configure BOClean
