Hello all!
I was trying to enter a blank space in a post the other day. Problem is, I can't seem to find the code to do it.
Heres the deal:
[list=1]
[*]Step1
[*]Step2
[/list]
Creates:
  • Step1
  • Step2
Sometimes I want to add a blank line for spacing between list entries, however:

[list=1]
[*]Step1

[*]Step2
[/list]
Creates:
  • Step1

  • Step2
If this was HTML, no problem, just add a <br> tag.
Is there a bbcode equivalent for this?

EDIT: Fixed typo

Dunno if this'll help - but I don't know no BBS code :thumbsup:

For blank spaces, just use Alt and 255

like here (the space between LIKE and HERE is the Alt + 255 character)

My problem is not adding the space, its that the forum removes all whitespace between my entires. I want to force a space in there. I tried &nbsp;, but the forum blocks it...

Oh well, I think I found a jury rigged method that seems to work

[list]
[*]This is step 1
[size="1"]
[/size]
[*]This is step 2
[/list]

Makes:
  • This is step 1

  • This is step 2
Its just really ugly looking in notepad.

Thanks for the help though.
Billy3

PS: Was Alt+255 a joke? I do have a spacebar :thumbsup:
