Usb Devices Are Not Recognising

hi guys

whenever i connect a usb device ,such as flah disk,printer or my mobile,the error message is coming that the usb device attached to the system is malfunctioned and windows cant recognise it.but all these device were working fine before.all of a sudden it stopped . but my keyboard is usb and it is working fine.

please help me..

Are the malfunctioning ports on the back or on the front? The ones on the back go directly into the motherboard while the front ports are attached through a ribbon cable.

You can also purchase a USB card (PCI) with more ports. They only run about $20 (includes shipping).
