Can Not Reboot My Desktop Winxp

HOW I GOT IN THIS PROBLEM, I TRIED SYSTEM RESTORE AND MY PC WOULDN`T ALLOW IT. BUT BEFORE THAT I CHANGED THE PIN ON THE BOTTOM OF MY C:/ DRIVE. NOW I DON`T REMEMBER WHAT SETTING IT SHOULD BE ON, MASTER, SLAVE
OR CABLE. I ONLY HAVE ONE PIN ON MY C:/ HARD DRIVE. PS. IM STILL LEARNING?

Put it on Cable Select.

Except for USB drives, hard drives come from the factory these days reflecting the C/S setting.
