Do any of you have any experience with a 28" monitor, the largest monitor I have seen is 24". My sister is thinking of selling her old 19" samsung and add some more money to get a bigger one. She intend to buy the samsung 245BW. But she is now thinking of the Viewsonic Vx2835wm 28" , with 3ms looks nice. Do you think this will be a worh while try???

I have a 32" monitor, but it's actually a 32" LCD TV with computer inputs on it.

My advice about monitors is to test it before buying - preferably alongside other similar monitors so you can make a visual comparison.

Looks nice but for 560 bucks you could get a nice HD LCD Tv that'd be bigger. But the Resolution won't be as good.

Does she wear glasses? That is a major consideration.

She will be after staring at a monitor that big for any prolonged period of time!
You will ruin your eyes!

If she wears bifocals dont even consider it!

Tell her to eat lots of broccoli & carrots!
Supposed to be good for your eyes.
In the beginning there was the command line.
