I have a new HP laptop (three days old). Today most of the time when trying to X-out of a page, I get up at the top, "Internet Explorer is not responding"!!!!! Most of the time I have to shut it off to get it to clear. What on earth could be wrong this time with this HP? I already had so much trouble with the last one that was less than a year old that they sent me a new one!! ARG!!!

I had that problem, Try tabbing, or use control panel then add/remove programs, and uninstall anything you dont use that didnt come with the laptop.
