Hi guys.

I've had my PC for about 18months and had no problems as such but of late it's started to run slowly and takes approx 5-10 seconds to perform some actions, e.g., closing a page. I've attached a HijackThis log and would appreciate if you could cast your eyes over it. I'm running Windows XP SP2 with Zonealarm firewall, AVG 7.5 free edition, Ad-aware SE Personal, System Mechanic 6 and CCleaner. I've 52 GB of freespace and have carried out the checks you require prior to posting.

Also, at times, the CPU becomes much noisier than usual ... sounds as though it's gone into overdrive!

Many thanks.

Denise

Hello DeniseB

Welcome to the Bleeping Computer Malware Removal Forum, sorry about the delay, but the amount of people posting with infected computers is through the roof and sometimes we can't get to logs as fast as we would like to. If you have not resolved your issue and still need assistance, post a new HJT log please as your system may have changed since your original post.
