Title says it all really.

Report 1
Report 2

I'm guessing that there are going to be many people that have already brought HD DVD players and movies that will be pretty pi$$ed off at this. Now the 'war' is over I'm guessing that the sales of PS3's and Blu Ray players will rise!

I knew I was going to get caught... But I bought a cheap HDDVD Player just in case... so I am only out 200 dollars but it still upscales regular dvds so it doesn't hurt that much.

Know I am shopping for a blu Ray player but might get a PS3 since it's only about 100 dollars more then the cheapest blu ray players...

I've been bitten before regarding the VHS vs BetaMax war many years ago, I learnt to keep my cash in my pocket and wait and see.

Word of advice regarding the PS3 issue, Sony are going to release a re-designed PS3 later on this year, so possible problems or issues should be ironed out, a smaller and perhaps lighter machine will be possible.

In the meantime you should be able to get hold of some cheap HD DVD's!!!

Wonder what will happen with the dual HD DVD/Blu Ray players?

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
