Hello, I bought this item:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...y0%3D%26fvi%3D1

I put it into my pci card slot on the mother board then i started up the computer.

it says new hardware found

PCI Device

then the New hardware wizard pops up and says

Can windows connect to windows update to search for software?

I said yes

Then it asks if my hardware came with a cd it only came with a windows 98 driver disk, so I poped it in just incase and choose the install software automatically [recommended]

then windows updates searched for a driver and said the hardware was not install because the wizard cannot find the necessary software. Thats were im at.

Can you help?

it's very complicated, you need to have the right bios on the card and a matching driver depending upon how you will use the card

what bios shows for the card when the computer boots?
