This hopefully should be short and sweet. I try to keep my processes at a minimum so that I'll have as much RAM as possible. First, I use Windows XP. Now when I do a Ctrl+Alt+Del to open my Windows Task Manager feature, I click the Processes tab to see what's running. I have been seeing two IEXPLORE.exe processes running when I do not even use IE. I use Mozilla Firefox. What's worse, is when I try to end them, they will pop back up again. Why is this happening and how do I keep IE out of my process tray?

Here is some info. regarding IEXPLORE.exe

Name: IEXPLORE
Filename: iexplore.exe
Location: Unknown
Description: Added by the APHEXDOOR TROJAN! Note - this is not the legitimate Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe) process, which should not appear in Msconfig/Startup unless you add it manually!
Startup Type: Currently being identified.

Two questions.

One - since it sounds like you're saying that I might have the aphexdoor trojan, how do I confirm if I do, and if I do, how do I get rid of it?

Two - I hadn't found the iexplore.exe file in the misconfig/startup. I found it in my Windows Task manager when I perform a Ctrl+Alt+Del. Is this point irrelevant, in that it is in my startup tray also?
