Hi sheikmabooty

This is what you should be looking to achieve for your local network.

I called my Desktop FAMILY, the portable VISTA and my workgroup Mshome.

Attached File  Capture1.GIF   23.85KB   9 downloads Screen Shot of physical connection of Local network to Live box and Internet. Do not worry about the switch and gateway they are all part of the Livebox.

Attached File  Capture.GIF   9.48KB   4 downloads Screen shot with windows explorer open and showing all the folders I have marked for sharing on the network.

Attached File  Capture2.GIF   46.38KB   7 downloads Screen shot of permissions

I hope this all works

Best wishes
