I have a Belkin Wireless Adapter (F5D7050) which I have to reinstall the drivers for after re-installing Windows. I download the correct drivers and click the install button. The install goes smoothly until it tells me to plug the adapter in. I plug it in and the Windows Hardware installer pops up and asks me to install the drivers. I ignore that window and finish up with the Belkin install. After the install, the adapter cannot detect any wireless networks and everytime I plug it, the Windows hardware installer pops up.

Can anyone help?

BLKWGUXP.sys is the main driver for xp, did it put that on your system somewhere?

if did, let xp see it when it asks for the driver?

BLKWGU.inf

this name should pop up

you can open these installers with winrar

Neither of the files are on my system. All I could find related to the adapter were DLLs.

EDIT: I extracted the files you mentioned to a flash drive and told Windows to search that. It installed the drivers and the adapter works now. Thanks so much!
