reading Yahoo mail through thunderbird

I just downloaded thunderbird yesterday but can't configure my yahoo account .

Is there a way to get my Yahoo mail through thunderbird?

You may want to check out these apps:

http://yahoopops.sourceforge.net/
http://mrpostman.sourceforge.net/

Both act as a link between thunderbirds pop3 (or any mail clients pop3) and a web based email platform.
