I canít get Windows to start on my PC.

I seem to have the same spyware problem as this guy:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/110638/how-to-remove-win32adwarecinmus/

(though itís probably not necessary to read that)

He was advised to do spyware scans in safe mode.

I canít start in safe mode Ė it just keeps rebooting but not ever getting to Windows (XP).

I followed the instructions on forcing safe mode start here:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/...al61.html#winxo

So now my computer just keeps restarting and restarting and itís never gets to Windows. My computer is basically completely unusable.

I tried removing one harddrive and using another Ė no difference.

I tried starting up with the windows CD in the drive to reinstall Ė no can do.

Iíve looked through the BIOS options for something but I canít see anything that looks obvious.

Whatís my next move??

Hmm, I would venture a guess that it may be a corrupted boot sector.

What kind computer are we dealing with here?

I had the same problem, was a Dell, Used a dell recovery disk. Worked like a charm.
