According to here...

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=831430

it says that to restore the vbscript.dll and the jscript.dll files, I need to extract the .cab files off of the CD.
Well, I'm looking here and only find the .cab files...

DRIVER
FP40EXT
IIS6
IMS
MANAGER
MMSSETUP
MODEM
OSC
SP2
WIN
WINSYS
WINSYS32

And the jscript and vscript files appear as DL Files. Well I can't extract those using MSCONFIG so either

A-Which .cab file am I supposed to extract from
or
B-Am I doing something wrong, looking in the wrong place, or what!?

I just need to restore these files....please help...

Thanks, you guys.

To expand files of an installation disk you need to use the expand command. I don't know where jscript.dl_ and vbscript.dl_ are located on the disk so I'll guess. Insert your Windows disk and go to Start -> Run, type:
EXPAND D:\I386\JSCRIPT.DL_ -R C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 and do the same for VBSCRIPT.DL_

Aside from that, what exactly is the problem you are having?
