I have an icon on my computer, which is a small white square with a red diagonal cross inside the square. I have an E mail message, from adating site, and when I click to read the message, I am unable to do so. A message appears that tells me the web page cannot be displayed. I have never had a problem before with these messages, and I hope you can help. I am on Bt Broadband with windows XP.
I have clicked on the icon to try to open a link but the "Open link" does not show. I have clicked on to tools and internet options, but as a bit of a begginer, I do not understand all the computer words displayed. My anti virus cannot seem to improve matters. I hope you can help and if you can could you reply in simple terms because as I have said, I am a begginer at computers. Many thanks

Hello Cymraeg

The easiest thing to try first is using System Restore or System Restore from a command prompt in Safe Mode to return to a previous state before your problem began.
