XP Home SP2. I get this in what I thought was for internet stuff. When I look in browsing history there are entries for My Computer with files. Is this normal? It looks bad to me!!! Look at picture on the left.

That looks like a list of Favorites to me...you cut off the top so I cannot be sure.

Anything can be in Favorites, including My Computer, if the user puts it there.

Just guessing...

It.s when you click on the little down arrow next to the Back button. It is when you click History. I thought it was only browsing history, but it might be everything/page I used that log on. ???

History is even more of a hodgepodge of meaningless junk.

There is no point in saving history beyond 3 days, IMO...if there is any point in saving it at all. Most of us don't use those files very much, if at all.

I suggest that you delete all that and start anew: http://www.real-knowledge.com/browseup.htm AND http://www.pchell.com/support/privacy.shtml

Relax gms1. Nothing bad about it. Whenever you open a folder then a file within that folder, it will show up under History. Same thing with individual files not in a folder. My history from yesterday shows the notepad files I looked at, every photo I looked at, and all the Lynyrd Skynyrd songs I listened to yesterday from My Music.
