We have a copy of Symanted Enterprise Edition that we use for all of our users. It automatically installs as a Managed Client. I have one client that does not have access to the SAV server. I know there is a way to modify this client to make it Unmanaged without having to uninstall and then reinstall, which I couldn't do anyway, since we don't have an install that allows us to choose between Managed or Unmanaged. Yeah, I know. Dumb. It was that way when I got here. Anyway, does anyone know the steps one would take to modify this client from Managed to Unmanaged? I'm about ready to just uninstall Symantec and go with AVG on this client, but due to policy, that would be a big no-no, so if I can modify this one client, I'd prefer that. If not, I'll take the heat for the AVG. Many thanks in advance.
