I put somethings onto a CD from my old computer and trying to put them onto this one How can I put these on? When I open the cd it tells me that they are readme and can not be opened Is their anyway I can use these? <email address removed>

Could what you are getting be that the files are read-only? If so, that's normal for files on a CD, and some applications will complain about that, because it prevents them from editing the files. If you copy the files to a suitable location on the new computer, right-click on each and select Properties, you can uncheck the read-only property and the file should then be able to be used as it could on the first computer.

If this isn't what you experienced, please give some more precise detail of what the files are and what steps you took to try to use them.
