I am looking for some speakers for my PC. I want a 2.1 system. I don't really care for surround so much. Who makes the best 2.1 speakers? I am looking for a system that can get really loud and not sound like crap. I use my PC as my home stereo and I turn it up pretty loud. So what brand and model would you guys reccommend?

Thanks,

Nic

I have the z2300 from logitech. I use it to play music on my laptop, and also have hooked up to my TV to watch DVD's, and games on the gamecube. Great sound overall. The woofer will shake the house if its turned up high enough.

I have to admit that after having this system, it motivated me in buying a Onkyo 5.1 receiver and speakers. More for my Home Theater interests than the computer. Anyways, the z2300 will meet the needs that you specified above.

I have 2 sets of Creative 2.1 Sounds great. Loud enough that my wife's always yelling to turn it down  The bass will rattle the windows. I think I paid $70 for the last set
