Hi all,

I'm having serious problems with my messenger.... It logs in fine on all the accounts, but for some reason it keeps crashing.

I get a message saying that Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sometimes it will do this as soon as it logs in, sometimes it doesn't do it until you click on a contact to talk to them. It's got to the point where i can't use it at all on my main account. There are other accounts on there - one of which works fine (at the moment) but the others are becoming increasingly unstable too.

I don't know whether it is caused by a virus or by something else. I run virus scans every week which comes up clear. I use McAfee internet security suite.

Not sure what other info will help.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

The first thing to try is uninstall then reinstall the program.
